Honda Talon 1000R 8" Portal Gear Lift

Choose your Talon R portal package

These 8-inch portal kits are offered in the supplier’s 2019–2023 selection labeled “Fits RS Models.” Match that selection to your exact vehicle before ordering. The 45% choices include configurations for a Big Lift Kit or no Big Lift Kit; the 60% choices offered here are for vehicles without a Big Lift Kit. A package listed for one setup does not establish compatibility with another.

Housing, reduction and frame support

Choose cast or billet housing and the reduction shown in the selector. A frame stiffener is required. Select the package that includes one unless you already have the required stiffener installed. A choice labeled “Use my existing frame stiffener” does not include another one.

Check your wheels before ordering

Use wheels at least 22 inches in diameter with no more than 5 inches of backspacing. The wheel center opening must be at least 3.25 inches (82.55 mm), or the supplier specifies a 1-inch wheel spacer. Check the full wheel and suspension setup and follow the installation instructions for your selected kit.

What the portal kit provides

The supplier lists four assembled portal hub boxes, hubs and slotted rotors, backing plates, rear bearing carriers, caliper mounting components, two preinstalled lower ball joints, extended brake lines and installation hardware. Frame-stiffener inclusion follows your selection. Do not assume wheel spacers or other suspension changes are included.
